Billy Bryan
I am a senior policy consultant at Technopolis, having joined in September 2017. I run policy studies in research and innovation, international development, green energy, health and higher education, both in the UK and internationally. I joined Technopolis after completing my PhD in Medical Education at the University of Sheffield Medical School. I am co-leading a project on “the value of the doctorate” in my own time, am a Fellow of the HEA, and vice-chair of governors at a Brighton primary school. I am very excited to be part of the CVRT and am committed to making a difference with them in promoting healthy lives globally.
Niki Sachsinger
Niki Sachsinger PhD is a research manager and clinical research administrator with 15 years experience working in clinical trials and a strong academic background. She has managed and monitored Phase II/III/IV studies across a range of indications including vascular surgery, medical devices, oncology, and mental health research. Since November 2019, as Clinical Trial Manager she has set up and monitored sites across the UK for several protocols including a Phase II Covid-19 study. Before this she managed a Vascular Research Unit at St George’s in London, a large tertiary hospital where she was responsible for conducting clinical trials within vascular surgery. These included device trials in surgery, interventional studies to investigate vascular treatment options or disease prevention, and observational studies for determination of best practice.
Keiran Seale
Kieran Seale is a director of the management consultancy, Verita, which specialises in carrying out investigations in the NHS, charities and the private sector. Kieran has a varied background. He initially worked as a transport planner for London Transport, local councils and in consultancy. He was called to the Bar in 2003 and after time as a company secretary in a private company, he moved into governance roles in the NHS. Kieran’s current role involves leading investigations into serious incidents and governance issues. He has led investigations into the death of a nurse for Imperial NHS trust and into safeguarding issues in the Green Party.
He is particularly interested in the interface between health and transport policies in areas such as public health and sustainable transport.
