David Malpas has been involved in private client investment management for thirty two years having started his career at Quilter Goodison in 1984, before moving to Laing and Cruickshank in 1997.
Having been acquired by UBS in 2004 he moved into a new partnership, Cheviot Asset Management in 2006 before returning to Quilter three years ago. He now manage assets for a variety of individuals, trusts and charities and follows all the industrial sectors.
David has always had a particular interest in healthcare partly as it has been an attractive area to invest in over the years but also due to the incredible advances made in treatments for all kinds of diseases.
Other interests include most sports (having a healthy heart fairly important here!) as well as art and travelling.
